Board games or computer games?

It was submitted by: http://thelieberfamily.com

Such a great prompt, Thanks!!!
In a time when technology rules our lives, we often forget that all the game apps were once board games. Games that you actually had to play while sitting next to or across from people and had to communicate with them. Sure many boards were flung across rooms and death threats were made, but we were all living in the moment.
Now all these games are apps on our phones and we can’t tear our eyes away long enough to even think about a board game. Why play scrabble with my friend at the table when I can play Words With Friends with a complete stranger on the other side of the world?
My favorite board was Beyond Balderdash. We would get crazy, twisted, and insane every time we played. Often I would purposely write inappropriate answers just to have the other person read it and try to keep a straight face. I sure do miss playing that game.
Bookworm Boy loves Monopoly, Sorry, and Guess Who. He sure loves to buy as much as he can and make money off other people paying him rent. He also knows how to watch Bookworm Daddy like a hawk, who likes to cheap.

Bookworm Hubby loves Stratego and always finds a way to win. I can’t stand that game. I suck at strategies, I rather play word games.

On my phone I am hooked on Design Home, a decorating game app. It’s fun and addicting, as long as you don’t let it take over your life. Just play for fun and creativity.
